SOME FAMILY MOMENTS WITH
EMMANUEL, MOMMY AND DADDY IN 2018 AND 2019

We thank God for the moments that Yesenia, myself and Emmanuel could spend together as family .

Our trip to the Zoo on December
2017

The first time he saw the goats
he fell in love with them immediately

Every time we have gone to see the goats
it has been a fight to pull him away.

The zoo keeper put some branches in the pen
to keep the goats occupied.

He officially finished his first level of

On our trip to the Island, November 2017, after
cleaning up the centre, we promised to take
Emmanuel out for something special

Emmanuel met "Santa Clause" on my
parents missionary trip in January
2018 and immediately
made a connection after learing how to play
his first video game.

This Pizza place, located at the bottom of
the hill where the centre is located, is one
of our favorite pizza places. They
bake the pizza in a wood burning oven.

Emmanuel made a special connection with
Anika, my Aunt Marj's grand daughter.

Emmanuel spent a lot of time playing
with Anika and the children
at the opening event for the centre on the
Island

Mom forgot to use her flashlight during
the evening hours
and fell face first
into the hard concrete sidewalk
located around the centre

You can imagine that she had difficulty after that
sewing the privacy curtains. We
called her black eye Suzzy after that!

On August 12th, 2018, after receiving the latest
updates for our courses, Emmanuel, Yesenia
and Alicia our trainer went again with Emmanuel
to Caterina.

Of course he wanted to go again for a ride
on a horse.

We always love seeing this sight of
this body of water, which used to
be one of the active volcanoes.

At the beginning of September, 2018, after all
the political stress in Nicaragua, Emmanuel, his
Grandmother Ines, Mama Yesenia and I made our
trip to Ometepe again.

We were thankful with God because
He brought order again to a very tense situation.

You can see the effect the situation had
on travel to the Island. This time we went
with the Ferry empty. That never happens.

On the 14th of September, 2018,
Emmanuel in 2nd level of Preschool
participating in the Independance day celebrations.
Where he danced with his classmates some typical
dances of the country.

Emmanuel had to put on
this traditional clothing
to be able to go up with
his classmates.

Here Emmanuel is
holding a machete.
In previous times
many children were taught
to cut the grass using this.

Yes Mom and Dad, Emmanuel also appreciates
very much the hammock that you guys
put up between these trees.

Emmanuel also likes to draw. We see
his drawings on some of the walls of our house as
well. I was very surprised the first time I
saw Emmanuels drawings on one of our walls.
